The best dentist I’ve ever had. First of all she is very kind, friendly and has a warm personality (and so is all her staff!), but most importantly she doesn’t do unnecessary procedures like so many other dentists. She is very reasonable in assessing the health and status of your teeth and is open for discussing what needs to be done instead of just telling you the outcomes like so many others. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!

Belinda Gregory Head DDS practices prosthodontics in San Francisco and is a highly competent and caring professional. I had a very complicated problem which called for a great deal of highly innovative work. She identified an allergic problem to my gums and cured the problem with use of non-toxic metals. I would unhesitatingly recommend her for complex dental work above and beyond what most dentists would be able to accomplish. She had an excellent front desk manager who makes appointments very easy to accomplish. I am totally satisfied with the work of Dr. Head. and would recommend her to anyone requiring top flight dental care.

I went to Dr. Head this past weekend when my 3 front temporary crowns fell out the morning of the rehearsal dinner for my son’s wedding. Dr. head was wonderful. She had me in the chair within 15 minutes after my son and new daughter-in-law told her about my emergency while I was visiting from Colorado. EXCELLENT care, GREAT……….. price. My teeth and smile look WONDERFUL!!!! And the wedding photos are the BEST. Dr. Head is very caring and treated me as though I had been her patient for years.

I received a recommendation from my home-town dentist to make a visit to Dr. Head. I had already been to two other dentists in San Francisco, and (while they were nice) they just did not quite meet the expectations that I have for dental/medical practices. I was quite relieved to find Dr. Head, her assistant Paolo, the professional front office staff.
I have now been going to Dr. Head for over a year. She takes the time to discuss my current dental condition, obviously reads over my chart before I arrive (or she has an amazing memory… either way it’s a win), and is efficient with her time.
Paolo has cleaned my teeth multiple times. He is extremely gentle, calming (if you have dental anxiety – this would be your guy), and thorough. And he’s just a sweetheart!!
I also had a dental implant surgery completed by Dr. MacDonald. He walked me through each step of the procedure before and during the surgery. I had a great recovery and am very pleased with the final product.
All in all, they’re a great office. Extremely clean, organized, and personable. And they send you email reminders so you don’t forget your appointment!!!

I wish I could give Dr. Gregory-Head and Dr. MacDonald’s practice more than 5 stars!! During my visits to their practice, I have never felt more comfortable or supported. Dr. Gregory Head is very thorough, caring, takes her time so you never feel rushed, and explains every aspect of your dental health and their proposed treatment plan. Dr. MacDonald is a skilled oral surgeon who performs his work totally pain free. I have found the Drs. and their practice to be very professional, warm, concerned, caring and apprised of the latest procedures and technology in the dental field. They spend time assessing your lifestyle and medical health to ensure that the treatment plan proposed is a good fit for the patient. They also make sure they are accessible to their patients to answer questions between visits, and return calls promptly. I was very, very impressed by the practice, the level of professionalism and the concern I felt as a patient that I am actually (and for the first time in my life) looking forward to visiting the dentist!

Rare is the office where you love both the dentist and her staff. I’ve been seeing Dr. Head for many years and each time I go (every six months) I’m struck by how friendly and caring they all are. My teeth are in good shape (because I’m no longer afraid to make my appointments!) and Paolo does such a good, gentle job of cleaning my teeth. Highly recommend this group. The wonderful view of San Francisco Bay is a perk but the people are the reason that my teeth are so well cared for.
